How limits work
Capacity changes without deleting history
New records are blocked before exceeding capacity and downgrades reversibly suspend excess employees.
Total active employees
The quota counts active Clock profiles, not general additional users.
Total locations
Each location uses capacity and retains its time zone and work calendar.
Total devices
Authorised terminals have a separate limit from the number of clock-ins.
Unlimited records
Entries, breaks and exits have no monthly limit on any plan.
Reversible suspension
After a downgrade the first profiles remain active and excess profiles retain all information.
An open shift can close
If an employee becomes excess with an open shift, they can clock out before access is suspended.

Before choosing
How many clock-ins can I record?
As many as needed. There is no daily or monthly record limit.
Is an employee an additional user?
No. Clock has a dedicated employee quota separate from general users.
Are employees deleted after a downgrade?
No. Excess profiles are suspended and automatically reactivate when capacity returns.
Can someone clock out after plan suspension?
If their shift was open when capacity changed, they can record the exit before suspension.
What happens to excess locations or devices?
Capacity is enforced when creating or managing resources; existing data must not be automatically deleted.
Do features change by plan?
No. Every plan includes clock-ins, shifts, calendars, leave, reports and exports.
